The guy on the quote is the guy on the machine.
Iron & Earth Site Services is a one-man dirt work outfit in Lebanon, Oregon, run by Jeff Walters. Licensed, bonded, insured, and doing business in Linn County since 2012 under Linear Construction.
Who We Are
Small enough to care.
Equipped to handle it.
Jeff Walters has been doing dirt work around the mid-Willamette Valley since 2012. He started under Linear Construction — that's still the business name on file — and operates today as Iron & Earth Site Services because the name says what the work is: heavy equipment on real ground.
When you hire Iron & Earth, you get Jeff. Not a crew lead. Not a sub. Jeff walks the property, writes the quote, runs the machine, and answers the phone when something comes up. That's the whole company.
What that actually means for you
- Straight answers. If a job isn't right for our equipment, we'll say so. If a job needs a licensed septic installer or a surveyor, we'll say that too.
- No middlemen. You're not getting shuffled between a salesperson, a scheduler, and a crew. One conversation, one quote, one invoice.
- Honest quotes. Written, itemized, and honored. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice unless something changes on the ground — and if it does, we call before we do anything about it.
- Clean sites. We leave the property the way we'd want ours left. No trash, no rutted access roads, no surprises.
The equipment
We run two machines, sized right for residential and small-commercial dirt work across the valley:
- Skid steer — with a box grader and a brush cutter. Handles clearing, grading, pad prep, and driveway work.
- Bobcat E50 mini excavator — for trenching, drainage, stump pulls, pond digs, and septic pits.
Between the two, we cover just about everything a rural or residential property needs short of a full-blown construction excavator — and when we do need something bigger, we'll tell you that too.
Licensed. Bonded. Insured.
Oregon CCB #197503. Bonded through the state of Oregon. Full general liability coverage. Ask for a copy of any of it — we'll send it over before we swing a bucket on your property.
How We Work
First walk.
Then quote.
Then dirt.
We don't bid jobs over text message sight unseen. For anything bigger than a quick regrade, Jeff comes to the property, walks it with you, and writes a quote based on what he sees — not what a photo hints at.
That walk is free for most jobs, and it's the fastest way to get a real number you can plan around. See our full process →
